I brought a 3 sim of Amazon 25GB every month lasting till feb 27 £54-99 working fine so you get the full use of the tablets features apps etc

2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Indus Silver

I have one fitted for over a year and love it.
Mine didn’t have a Uk sim reader so I fitted a 4g router in the boot with a puc antenna.
I seem to have a setting problem as it keeps dropping WiFi?
Anyone have any advice?
As for it blocking the vents my son is a design engineer and designed and 3D printed a new mount lowering the screen 15mm.
It only works if the lower hvac has no CD slot.

2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Mariana Black

I'm 6 months in and no real issues with mine - i changed quite a few settings and somehow managed to mess up something - did a quick factory settings restore on the new screen and all was good again.

I think the sound is better with the new unit, it certainly seems to amp things up a bit more - unless my mind is playing tricks on me. Ash

Can anyone think of a reason why you couldn't fit the PIVO screen to a 2017 SVA? I reached out to RRW the other week enquiring about getting one fitted and was advised that it wasn't possible to fit to mine as it already had an updated screen.

2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aruba

Looking at this upgrade. I have two questions

1) I have RSE and my kids like the DVD’s. Will they still work?

2) Does the splash screen on start up say android or LR? Has anyone managed to change to LR if it doesn’t come like that already?

1) yes, but will need to be controlled from the OEM interface, nothing can be routed from the new system to the RSE.

2) Mine shows 'android' on boot up, earlier system showed Land Rover but apparently it was removed due to licensing issues with LR.

It's possible to modify the bootloader to show whatever you want - or so I believe, just never really researched it in any detail. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.
