1 week and diffuser fell off

So I picked up my p530 last week, it's done 300 miles now. After getting over the initial confusion of the engine run in that we were not told about, all was going well until we were on a dual carriageway doing about 50, saw something in the rear mirror which looked like it may have come from the car. No noise and we've not done anything off road or even been on a road with humps etc, stopped the car at the next destination and the rear diffuser/underside cover has fallen off.

Garage are replacing it of course and have apologised. We've had four new sports and this, the SVR was the only one with no issues. Our first had awful leather creases and folds on the seats and they ended up replacing the entire rear seat, second car had fuel slap and needed to go back in, the SVR we had had zero issues (best car I've ever owned) and the P550e sport we had came with the wrong wheels, had numerous software faults and month two had a fluid leak requiring the washer fluid thing to be replaced.

Photo taken when the car was being washed so the white mark on the back is soap before anyone asks!

Jesus! That’s shocking. I hope the dealer feeds back to JLR, because somebody on the line at Solihull needs a kick!
Apart from your frustration and hassle, that could have damaged the car behind.
Mind you, I suppose it’s only a £100k+ motor so these quality shortfalls are to be expected 🤦‍♂️ L405 2017 TDV6 AB

That cover that’s fallen off clips into the upper rear bumper and 4 plastic screws secure it at the front edge. They must have been seriously loose to all fall off. Current fleet:
2020 McLaren 600LT Spider
2020 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet
2023 PHEV 440 SE
1992 Lotus Esprit turbo
2019 Alpine A110
