How to remove wing mirror assembly?

Morning All,

Posted this here because it gets more traffic, sorry if this is incorrect MODS.

My Dad had his N/S wing mirror wiped off when parked so I have managed to find a replacement on ebay for a LOT less than the £485 + VAT he was quoted by the dealer.

Question is does anyone know the procedure for removal and replacement of the mirror? What do I have to remove from the inside of the door to get to the fixings and how do I remove it?

Any online tutorials anywhere that i've not managed to find?

Thanks in advance.

That is marvellous, thank you.

Do you mind me askign what resource that is from? I need to work out how to remove the actual door trim to start with, could do with the same breakdown for that.

Thanks

BB

If you download it you shouldn't need to burn it to a disc, you can run it from your hard drive directly.

Find the Folder that you downloaded it to:

Find the "Rave.exe" file and double click it.

it should run. Discovery 4 HSE

That means it DOES need burning to a disk as you have an 'image'.

Here's some hints:

Sounds like it didn't burn propperly. Download 7Zip, it allows you to extract the iso file to a folder on your pc:

VMPP you need to subscribe to GTR (see my post earlier) This is a web-based version of the old rave CD. It covers all the differences in the newer models.
