Everything was working fine until a few days ago when I tried to start the car remotely in the cold weather and the app told me it had failed to communicate with the car. A further check on the app identified that it wasn't showing recent journeys and said it hadn't updated for a couple of days. Thought it might have been the app but checked my online Incontrol account and same there too.

It's been fine since I picked it up end of November so just wondered if it was a problem with the SIM card which it came with, so changed that for a new one but, although it seems to read the SIM it doesn't then connect to the app/online. If I connect the car to my home wifi network then it works and updates journeys etc as before.

I had a bit of a similar hiccup the other day but it sorted itself out and has been OK since. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Check if you have any DTC's for TCU etc

I had similar issue a few years ago, the car was showing parked at the last service station I had visited 50 mile away, and could not get it to work. Next day it was the same.
I charged the car battery and also did a DTC check and there was a telemetric fault, once reset and cleared, and with a charged battery it started to work. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue
