4.4 TDV8 No coolant level sensor plug

Noticed today that my 2011 4.4 TDv8 didn't have the coolant level sensor plugged in, I can't seem to find the plug for it? There is seemingly a wire (maybe cut) coming from the head light plug, is this related?

The coolant level sensor wire is white with orange stripe.
