ive noticed this when using the tailgate to sit and drink my tea from ...i just turn the lights off from the switch inside or else they just stay on and drain the batt "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

The interior lights turn off after 16 minutes.

They are 6 watt bulbs. If I cared I'd do the maths to work out for how many years your battery would run that for. Turns out I dont. ![]() |

If you're sitting on the tailgate with no doors open, just click the latch closed on the upper tailgate, it turns all the lights off so saves your battery. Just remember to press the tailgate release before you slam it closed |

That's a useful tip! I often have to leave the tailgate ajar whilst carrying large things - it's OK during the day but at night the lights are irritating.
