Front electric seats / steering column not woring | |
Good afternoon.
Looking to see if anyone can offer any help....
2008 Range Rover TDV8 Vogue SE front electric seats & steering wheel adjustment have suddenly stopped working.
Found alternator was faulty so replaced with one off the bay but it was constantly fluctuation between 12.5-15.7v & headlight, tail lights dash lights started strobing. Removed the ebay alternator & replaced with a brand new delco alternator.
Turned out the faulty one fried the LCM so found a replacement, fitted, all good.
However the front electric seats & steering column adjustment which were working previously have also stopped working.
Furthermore, i noticed the cruise control now no longer works either!
Checked all related fuses in fusebox which are fine.
Checked the main fuse input & there is no power actually getting to the fuse.
Has anyone else experienced this issue / can tell me what the likely problem is?
Seen on other forums people mention fuses under the seats but i have spare front seat, have checked & there are no fuses on them, just about half a dozen multiplugs.
As mentioned above, the seats / steering column were working fine before the unbranded alternator from the bay blew my LCM, im guessing due to constant undercharging / overcharging.
Thanks in advance.
