Toll tag as Stan says, also if you are planing on going near any cities even if by mistake….. then get a crit Aire sticker. It’s the French emission tag and if you want to go into certain towns or certain bypasses etc you have to have one. You could probably get away with not to the Alps. It they only cost a few quids.

If you’re route takes you through Switzerland (usually if you’re heading for Portes du Soleil via the north side of Lac Leman) you’ll need a Swiss Autoroute vignette. You can buy at the frontier, but you can avoid the queue and buy from the Swiss Tourist office in London. |

Thanks. Got a tag but good point, I need to switch it over from another car. CritAire is a good call, just in case. I'll have to check the route to see if we're going near Switzerland. |

The tags work in any car doesn’t matter, I lend mine to friends and family. 👍🏻 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

You only need the swiss thing on autoroutes.....on minor roads you don't... ... - .- -.
