Locking wheel nut key obsolete

Hi all, I’ve lost my locking wheel nut key and just found out it is now obsolete. I’ve spent most of the day calling everyone I can think of an no one has them in stock although numerous websites state they are in stock. I’m after coda A according to my local landrover dealer lr043796. I don’t suppose anyone has any idea where I can get one or the easiest way to remove them. I’m happy to replace with not locking nuts once removed and if there is a kit to remove for reasonable money I’m happy to buy it. I have attached an image of the key I need. Thanks

Think there was a set of nuts and a code A key in the for sale section……

Dumb question, but are you sure it's lost ?

Someone a while ago posted a similar question, but then found theirs in it's proper location in the spare wheel well on the left as you look in.

Another option is a universal locking nut remover then get 4 plain nuts to replace them. Locking wheel nuts only ever seem to cause problems for the legitimate owner. Any wheel thief who could get a FFRR off the ground would have no problem defeating a wheel nut......

It’s a good point the proper place is hard to spot as it has a cover over it….. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

United States

I just removed my locking lugnuts, bought the car and found it had no key. Used a 21mm 12point socket, just slightly fits over lugnut, tapped it on about 3/8 of an inch to make sure it doesn’t slip then used a breaker bar to take it off. Left it a little bit on the stud to work the socket off the lug then finished removing the nut by hand, put oem regular nuts back on.
