Hi Nick. It was replaced with a genuine leak off pipe from Landrover. I’ve had the seals replaced twice as well but still have the leak. It’s frustrating as it only seams to leak when driving as nothing is showing when idling |

Hi Killjoy, I had a similar issue on my L320 TDV6. The fuel consumption increased from 28 to 16 mpg and diesel was leaking at one of the cylinders. The issue was related to the return of excessive diesel after the injector back to the diesel pump. Possibly the root cause was a clogged return in the diesel pump, which made the pressure increase in the return pipe. The fix was to increase the diameter of the hole for the return. |

Might it be coming from the the water sensor connection at the base of the fuel filter ?

Mmm, that's interesting. When I contacted (Duckworths I think), they reckoned that nothing like this was available.

It’s true it is a lot of money for what it is but it is a genuine part and after all these motors aren’t called money pits for nothing |

My similar diesel leak came from a mis-aligned fuel filter, just re-fitted it properly.

When you say back left of the engine, are you looking from the front?
