Something is vibrating but I cant think what. The noise is a like a vibration but there is no vibration, just a noise. I can't make it occur in N but regardless of what other gear i'm in if I'm moving 1200 rpm produces a buzzing vibration like noise, rev higher or lower and it goes. It's particularly irritating at motorway speeds as because it's a diesel 1200 rpm is near or at the legal limit in 8th. Anyone got any ideas? Geoff

Its not the heatshield on the exhaust rattling is it? my son's Range Rover has something very similar. A quick weld and all gone

It is indeed like a buzz/tizz/rattle but no vibrations just the noise. Geoff
