Cruise Control not available

I was getting the ‘Cruise Control not available’ error in the instrument panel when attempting to activate it. It’s the active cruise type that drives jerkily like a hapless learner but nevertheless mitigates cramp in old hairy legs on long journeys. It flashes up only for the duration of the button press and, accurately, the cruise indeed does not activate. The dealer said it was either front camera misalignment (not covered under LR extended warranty) or some module or other needed replacing (covered). It turns out it needed a new CCM (camera?) bracket which they fitted and politely asked me for £456. It now works again. I was thus able to jerk myself all the way home, money well spent Thumbs Up L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

I get fed up of the ACC. I always push and hold the reduce distance button & revert the system to standard cruise. Wish I could lock it out permanently with a CCF setting.
