FBH - Timed

Hello,
I always thought my FBH didn't run for long. I set it off either by the remote in the App or directly from the panel. I have even set a timer for the morning in the car.

I set it off tonight by pressing the Heat Now button in the car. I could then see how long it ran for. It was 5 minutes. The air inside the car was cold. Also, touching the pipes, the coolant didn't seem to have warmed up much.

How long should it run? I have hear it running. I feel the pump going for the water. I can feel it taking in air through the intake.

Kind Regards

mine is super good, running for c. 25 mins and getting really warm inside. may be the switch over valve syndrome which affected the L322?

OP, mine was exactly like yours, didn’t run for long (tested it at 8mins run time) and blew cold. I persevered with programming it to come on, on a few cold mornings and it gradually got better, now it is as intended. Not sure if they all just need a bit of use to get things ‘flowing’ properly First time FFRR owner

I believe it should run for 30 minutes. Unless another condition stops it early, such as low battery or low fuel.

I will try this evening. I will connect the battery charger (to make sure). I use it a few times during the year, so maybe it never clears as suggested.

I will let people know. there are no errors in the gap tool. SDV8 AB MY 2020

So, with the battery on the charger, I ran the FBH to warm the car, and it ran for 30 minutes. The voltage is never high enough. I will try again in the next few days without the charger connected. SDV8 AB MY 2020

So I try this afternoon. So for me I only get timed heating. If the battery charger is connected. I replaced the battery a couple of years ago. It seems ok.

Maybe I can look at the lithium battery from another thread. SDV8 AB MY 2020
