seems to be in the right ball park. Autotrader's cheapest with same mileage and spec is £17k. others are more. |

I got such derisory offers for mine I decided to keep it (was going to buy a new one), having it detailed at the moment and will upgrade the infotainment system ASAP. Mine is higher mileage, the fridge doesn't work (it never has), it has RSE, deployable steps and deployable towbar. Also it's an AB not an SE but I don't think that makes a difference. So I'll spend a couple of £k to keep me going for another year or so. Geoff |

I’ve got the same car albeit with 88k miles, and honestly I think you’re being a tad optimistic. I paid a dealer £19,500 in February and within a few months I think it was probably worth £16k if I was lucky. Now, I dread to think. Cars on AT are not moving quickly.

A trade in/dealer price will be trade value, not the same as what they retail them for.

If you want that kind of money for it you will need to sell privately and I would suggest this site is probably your best option of realising what you think it’s worth.

Realistically dealers will want at least a £5k mark up on a 11 year old Range River. Unfortunately you have to look at the running costs …road Tax £710, insurance ?????? But probably near £1,000. At that age is it a Euro 5 soecification , if so it limits the market place no big cities with current and proposed car charging schemes.

I have just agreed to P/X mine with 96k. Managed to get 12k for it from the garage which I will take as a win, still painful but saves alot of potential hassle with private buyers and is much better than WBAC. 2013 SDV8 4.4 Vogue SE Aintree |

I have a BCA account and monitor L405 prices, both the CAP ‘clean’ and actual sold prices - based on these I’m afraid I’d have to agree with the various comments above if considering part-ex’ing or selling in some form to the trade.

One of our customers is selling this. Cropped it to hide any info, so as not to break any rules etc. And I know it's also a Sport, but they are much the same price wise

Trade in values closely follow car auction prices. And auction prices for L405's dropped to record lows a few months back, when the combined effect of the expanded ULEZ zone as well as massively rising RR insurance costs were hitting owner's pockets.
