Can't "Service Interval Reset" L322 2012 5.0 SC

Has anyone experienced difficulty resetting the service interval on a late L322 - I have used there GAP tool a dozen times to do this, it goes through the process and says complete; however, on restart that message is back........ any thoughts / help worked new very appreciated 2012 Range Rover L322 5.0 SC Autobiography – Sumatra Black
2010 Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE L359 – Grey
2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit WK2 – Grey
1999 Mercedes E320 W210 – Silver

I read on here something about the bonnet needing to be open for it to work.

I managed to get mine to reset after a bit of perseverance last year.

Look for the post about the really hard, long press on the brake pedal with bonnet open.

I've found that works better than the GAP tool for service reset.

I haven't managed to do the reset with my GAP tool, I just use a cheap chinese thing to reset the service interval. Not sure why it doesn't want to dot it, I must be doing something wrong... Confused
