I'm building a 2011 to be my wheeling rig. Was looking for locker solutions but someone in another thread mentioned you may have enabled some options with IID Tool to improve the TC?

The only thing I used the IID for was to change the ride height, I found it best at a couple of inches above off roading height, not too high or you get no droop

I extensively offroaded mine and it didn't even have a rear locker but it would still out perform tricked up 90's with lockers and 35's...

The secret is to change your off roading style from a live axle, no electronics offroader..... don't pump the throttle, use a small and continuous throttle and the fatty will slow, realise it is slipping wheels, apply the brake to the slipping wheels and then speed up a bit till it happens again, don't give it more gas when it starts to get stuck, just keep it constant and let the electronics work.

Adjust your driving style, practice to see what it will do, and you will soon see that it will do just about anything you point it at....

Biggest improvement to mine was the rock sliders, use them as "sliders" lean on them and rock crawling is fun.... On slippery surfaces, turn off the traction control, it stops the fatty reducing power to nothing because more than one wheel is spinning, I often had all four wheels spinning and you make progress if the traction is off... it's capabilities are vast...

Use hill decent when going up steep hills, it won't engage until you go down hill in forward or reverse so it will save you if you have to back down an impossible hill, feet off and let it do the work, I believe on your model the cruise buttons control the speed of the hill decent...

Also as yours is a 2011 it will have the later electronics which are even better....

Have fun... Thumbs Up Pete

Ah gotcha. What did you run for tire size? I have KO2s now, but may look to go full MT a bit bigger. (I honestly forget what size but it's a small 32 that was a safe guaranteed fit when I got them)

I ran 32” Maxxis, size is in this thread somewhere but I used 18” wheels as the callipers were diddy on the early fatty, again, I don’t think much bigger will give you any great benefit… Thumbs Up Pete
