Last night our range rover was stolen from the hotel in Birmingham we were staying in. It is a 2015 black VOGUE SE 30tdv6. Reg S88PXX. We now have to work out the value as it had 196k miles but a rebuild engine with 5k miles on it.

So sorry to hear that, I fear the insurance valuation will be nowhere near the replacement cost...

So sorry to hear this news. As it was a hotel do they have good quality cctv that may help as evidence in trying to trace your RR or indeed the culprits?

One of the first things I did was disable keyless entry. Now going to have a fight to get the right compensation from insurance. We had just spent £7k on the engine rebuild and car was driving beautifully. We will not get that back.

I'll be heading upto Lichfield tomorrow morning from South Wales, I'll be sure to keep my eyes open. Though reg could have been changed, any distinguishing marks, dents etc etc or anything that would stand out?

Sorry to hear about that. Must be awful to have your car nicked especially having spent a load of money on it. Sadly, the insurers won't give a fig about how much you've spent and will try and fob you off with a low offer.
