L405 seat adjustment

Hi, bit of a rant now !! I use my 2007 L322 as my daily and love it, recently I have had to double up and use the L405 which is 95% attached to the horse trailer HOWEVER I cannot find a way to get comfortable in the seats, I just cant seem to get them in a position that I can see the bonnet as per the 322, they don't seem to have the height I need, I am 6'4 so not that small, am I missing something??, thanks 2013 L405 Autobiography Baltic Blue

It must be me ! Using the 405 most of the time at the moment as the 322 has a cracked inlet manifold, I cannot get comfy in this thing from a seating perspective, I am not that tall but seat only goes back so far and then goes up! Am I missing something? Help appreciated Thumbs Up 2013 L405 Autobiography Baltic Blue

I don’t think you’re missing anything. I think it’s widely accepted that the L322 seats were more comfortable.
I had the same as you, running an L405 for a couple years, never felt quite as comfortable as my L322.
I think the later 405s improved-so short may have more information.
High cost solution would be to trade up to L460, because those seats, in my opinion are AMAZING! L405 2017 TDV6 AB

I certainly don't find the L405 seats any less comfortable than the L322.
What I have an issue is getting in in the first place! I always have to drop my head and go in "head first" to avoid bumping my head on the roof.
Never had that problem with the L322........... Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

@alanm_3,

Have you enabled “comfort access”, so the seat lowers and steering wheel goes up on exit, then when you enter the car, the seat is low? When you start the car, the seat & wheel return to their normal positions. Control is on the side of the steering binnacle.
@Rosco, I’m only 5’ 10”, and my wife is only 5’ 3” and neither of us have any problem getting the seat high enough, so at 6’ 4” there must be some kind of malfunction, notwithstanding model year.
Does the maximum height vary according to seat travel position, perhaps? (I never tried to set the seat high when it’s at its rearmost position, us both being short*rses Laughing )

Puzzling. Neutral “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
