Like a fool I have snapped of one of the small outlets on my top hose union whilst changing the inlet manifold gasket. Has anyone found a source for a replacement. is China making alloy copies yet, does anyone have one they no longer need. 2007 TDV8 VSE

To answer myself, yes they are now available as a separate part, there are steel ones on ebay that are a bit pricey however a repacement plastic one can be had for A$28 shipped, about 14 pounds. I now have one on its way and have bodged up the old to cover the postage time

Today the postman delivered the replacement hose union from China and I am happy to report it seems very well made and a perfect replacement. Comparing it to the old one it is a 100% exact copy with the internal channels and flutes exact. The only difference I can see is the original is shiny on the outside, the new more of a matt finish. 10 mins to fit with the correct clamp tool. Let's hope it last 17 years like the old one before it gets leant on and snapped
