Olders, I recommend you call Gordon at 4-Tech. He's Cambridge based so not too far from you. This is a subject which has a different answer depending on who you talk to. What I will say however is that these gearboxes are not sealed for life. If the fluid is not changed you end up with transmission shunt and clonky changes.

What I was going to say before I realised it has been said at the beginning is that Land Rover only recommend changing the transmission oil on petrol engined FullFats with a 6 speed ZF transmit ion 2008 MY Supercharged
