Germany 2017 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Carpathian Grey

Hello on this topic from Germany:

here the Ingenium diesel, especially the 4-cylinder, is completely defective in almost all Jaguars, RRSport or Discovery5 after 50,000km (oil intervals too long, timing chain -- between engine and gearbox, how stupid --- , oil dilution, it needs to be replaced, that costs around 27,000 euros, but if you still have the warranty, then the authorized dealer says: not available....., in addition the car with the 4-cylinder engine has a terrible sound, it doesn't fit at all. The best car is and remains the TDV8 or SDV8, I have been involved in vehicle technology professionally for 45 years and have always had well-maintained L405 and L322 with 250,000 mls (400,000km) driven, if you drive normally it needs 9 liters of diesel, annual tax is around 600 euros, insurance around 1400 euros. Also the 6-cylinder Ingenium ist defect after around 80.000km, but not so often like the 4-cylinder.

Buy a 2017 SDV8, high mileage, low price...... L405 SDV8 2017 + Lancia Flavia Coupe 1964 + RRS L494 3.0 SDV6 + C220CDI Convertible 2021

Just to clear is the D300 and D350 six cylinder egines in the new RR Ingenium engines?

They seem to be very well rated???

Same Q from me - these aren't the 2.0 models which seem to struggle so wondering whether the D300/D350 are a good option, or if they have the same issues?

AFAIK, yes the issues with timing chain failure affect all models.

More info about the range on Wikipedia:
