It's had either a remap or emissions system delete... |

Thanks Mikey for the response. Does that mean every Range Rover that has undergone remap will show this error message in ECM? I read from somewhere it requires a bench protocol to patch and remove this error permanently. Not quite sure what it means? As my understanding Range Rovers requires bench tuning and not via OBD port. Or am I missing something? |

Not strictly 'on topic', but the info you quoted, 'used rear axle' would make me very suspicious and wary of buying this five year old RR unless there was a lot more info and good reason for this replacement |

Would a 2019 SDV8 remap be done via OBD or bench? Trying to figure out what was done before this and why is could cause this kinda issues. Now that it is in this predicament, will a new tune write it off? |

In the 5 years, the owner put down 66K miles and my guess it's being maintained by a not very competent shop since he couldn't provide a clear answer as to why is the TCCM showing P0810-62 code if he has already diagnosed and repaired the car. That's why I'm trying to figure out how much risk exposure I'm undertaking and what is involved in order to solve this |

The rear differential replacement could be due to a faulty clutch pack issue unless it has an open differential. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

Tinman, how can I tell if it's open or clutch differential? |

Open diff doesn't have an oil temp sensor in the casing |

The Vogue is currently showing error P0810-62 error so what are the chances the previous mechanic fitted the wrong differential? Is there a website where I am able to generate all relevant part numbers for the transfer case and differentials via VIN? |

From what believe the Autobiography and S/C have the rear- diff lock as standard, in other models it is an option. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

I had the same thought, the "used rear axle" on a 2019, regardless of receipts or reasons would have had me running for the exit, let alone the other issues. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography (2021-2024) - Santorini Black 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster (2016-2021) - Santorini Black |

I went ahead and bought a build sheet from vin-spec. Yeah the vehicle is equipped with locking rear differential. Now that the guess work is cleared it will be easier to work on diagnosis and repair procedures |
