Another “now it’s cold I’ve realised this thing doesn’t work on my car” thread!

My heated seats are rubbish.

Well, actually they’re only half rubbish. The seat bases just do not get hot at all. Ever.

The seat backs get red hot very quickly.

Both driver and passenger seats are the same. I’ve not tried the rears now I come to think of it.

I’ve read that the seats are heated by hot air from the coolant but that doesn’t seem to make sense given how quickly the seat backs heat up and how hot they get.

Are the backs electric and the bases not? Are my bases just knackered?

Have a look in the settings, I thought the same but the bases were switched off and the backs on. Just tap the bases ( on ) and happy days 2021 SVautobiography Dynamic Black ( Black wheels need to go )

I remember Craig mentioning they use something called a peltier heater for the seats , unlike earlier ones with the heated elements .

As above they are probably switched off 👍

What an idiot. Yes they were just turned off in the settings. Cheers guys.
