It’s obviously marmite, but one in this exact colour passed me a couple of days ago and it is very striking. One of those things that gets a second look in a sea of silver, black and white …..

Not my thing either but I get it.

I’ve not seen a 405 in this colour, but I would have given my right arm for a classic in it back in the early 70’s.

A chap near me has one, I think he’s had it from new as he’s a bit of a collector. Never seen it driven but it’s always in the garage next to a very nice old merc.

I have the 2007 equivalent of his garage, just mines worth about £70k less Big Cry

Just followed Mikes advice and asked if they'll fit deployable steps in with the price. Geoff

Mike.

Saw a blue classic Range Rover 3 door original K plate, Friday morning. Outside Lane of M40. North bound between junctions 6 and 7
Making good progress amongst the vans flying along!

I was bumbling along at 60ish on the inside lane.

I’ll have a £5 with you they still have it in a month, try again then.

Do it in person though, at least they know you’re serious that way.

Deployables are pretty pricey. Could fixed steps be an option? 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

IIRC Tuscan Blue was an £11k option. Looks beautiful especially with the tan interior.

Just use a caravan step, far more reliable and cheaper!! 2017 SDV8 Autobiography

I agree with Stan. Mine has electric steps and they are a pain in the backside. There's always one stuck out. Lubricate them and they are stiff again in a few days. As cool as they are, I'd go for fixed ones if I had a choice now. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black
