Yep, change the bag, that line of bumpy stuff around the shock is pure road dust that has set like rock and wears the bags out, when you are back to normal, stick it in off road height and clean all that debris away.... Pete

I thought as much. £600 from Island, Dunlop (gonna take the risk instead of BWI and sounds like they're not as bad as years gone by) both sides with new bolts and gaskets. Will see how it goes (local garage doing it as I don't have a driveway/time to do it myself) L322 2007 S/C 4.2L

I'd replace both sides as if one side has deteriorated the other will not be far behind. Also as your's has the non CVD dampers I'd replace the whole strut and not just the bag. Changing a strut should not effect the toe settings to any significant degree if at all. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
