Think this option has to be activated by dealer, It’s active on mine, If you put the key you want to programme into the ignition then set up the seat memory as normal, whenever that key unlocks the car the seat should return to that position, From what I remember thats how I got it to work |

I'm not convinced this is a dealer activate option. The feature works on my car 95% of the time, but every now and then it needs to be reset.

I'm pretty sure it is a dealer activated option. That is why there is an asterisk next to the heading in the manual. There's that and, now I've gone and looked myself, there's the fact that immediately after the bit pasted by Scarey it says:

It's definitely a dealer activated option as it is a function of the body control module. It isn't a fool proof system and at times it does forget to remember your seating position. The memory is a function of the position the seat was in when the car was locked with that key. Eg if I open the car with my key the seat moves to my position. If I then lock it with the wifes key my seat position is stored by her key so if I then unlock with her key the seat will stay in the position I use. 06MY 4.4 V8 Autobiography Cairns Blue with Navy & Parchment Interior |
