I may have been partly to blame by commenting on the chrome bits. Sorry I just don't like them but will try not to keep trotting out the same opinion all the time from here on. I do tend to accompany my comments about such things with an "embarrassed" smiley to try and get across that it's said in a sheepish fashion.

Thing is if we didn't express our opinions then the forum would be empty. In the car world looks are very subjective and one man's "classy" is another man's "trashy". As already said, we can't all like the same thing.

First posting on this one was a bit odd anyway; I had no idea "what" it had been worth doing because there was no actual remark to tell us about it. That did rather tempt people into remarking about the bits they think must be next on the list if they are not familiar with the owner's car (as I am not).

That has been widely expressed and there is obviously a variety of opinion as you would expect.
