So now I have a GAP IID BT Tool surplus to requirements. Think it's a G2 Model.

TBH I don't know. I used it on my L322 2006 4.4 Petrol without any issues, so I can't see why it wouldn't work on yours.

Do these allow suspension calibration?

I've seen that the G3 does but I haven't found anything to confirm whether the G2 does too, I think I've read something that made me doubt it. I'm interested but I want the suspension function. '95 VW Corrado VR6
