Good luck Mick! I had a good whinge at the DP when I waited ages for a caliper (2 things:1. we know the design is so they keep failing, 2. Knowing this why don't they have loads of stock- are they growing them from seed??)

They waived (no pun intended) the insurance fee. My view, it's not a courtesy car if you have to pay.

Hope you get a result- either that or I hope there is an alternative stealer for next time!!

Ah well passed it's MOT clean bill of health , 2 year running the bill for the service and caliper was £831.06p , and thats not including the reverse camera and thermostat fault for which the car will have to go back to the dealers in a couple of weeks time to get those done ……… more dosh then ...

Best book it in for the other rear caliper, it won't be long before it needs changed

Look on the bright side MICK, that's probably about 2 weeks depreciation on a brand new one.

Ah well she's off again to the dealers for another 4 days ,

to fix the reversing camera problem
also the thermostat problem
and the rear wash wipe no water problem ……

Just had prices so far since the car went in this morning

£90 to adjust the handbrake

£117.00 to supply and fit new rear wiper arm and valve

£321.17 to change thermostat and gasket

Christ knows what it is going to cost to get the camera fault repaired as they are waiting on the technician that does the diagnostics
