Rear subframe change.

Well the old girl needs a rear subframe change, last year I did the front so I knew rear one was imminent for doing.

A good second was bought with the front and the last week or so it's need painted in galvafroid and black paint. Lanogaurd inside the frame so should last a few more years😉

My question is....

I've brought new top and rear arms, new subframe bushes, toe in links arms and anti roll bar links with anti roll bar bushes.

The air bags all seem good and no leaks....is it worth changing the dampers....she is 21 years old..
No leaks and in fairness do the job they should do.

Anything I should consider whilst it's in bits?

I'm not doing the work....I have a garage worth their weight in gold to do this...and a trusted garage too.

 If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

How old are the air springs? May just be worth renewing these anyway - then you do have spares.... .

I have the exact same problem. Rear subframe needs to be replaced due to rust , same with the sills. Just wondering the over all costs?
