So drove a D350 and then a P530 back to back although the P530 was in its running in mode so limited performance.

The D350 seemed to wander and constantly needed steering input unless I put it into Dynamic mode where as the P530 seemed so much more planted - comments please chaps.

I know there is an option for the D300 which is All terrain response and includeds some suspension upgrades and the active diff but the All terrain is part of the D350 with a separate add on of the suspension/diff at nearly £3k

Also the P530 is the way I’m leaning but interested in the real MPG figs as opposed to LR made up figs so please let me know what your getting on a day to day basis. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

Cruising up the payage from Champagne to Calais at a constant 99 mph I got 19 mpg letters not necessarily in the right order

I get 500 miles from a tank touring at more law abiding speeds. Around town or if I use the performance it’s mid teens mpg only.

thats quite helpful thanks, I do about 14k a year, 8k are work miles where I'm in no rush so happy cruising at 60-70 on the track, I know there would be a bit of a difference between the SDV8 and SC but the 5.0L is so tempting First time FFRR owner

Get the V8, I’d avoid the D300/350’s due to the Ignium link as it’s been mentioned there are failures starting to appear in the Defender according to a reliable internal source. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
