we all have our own opinion

saying that mine has the chrome handles...but i think if i was to facelift it to the 2010 front i would change them only because in my opinion they look better standard on that model but the wheels are growing on me the more i look at them oh and the mirrors look smart "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

chrome handles are ok on silver cars I think

My point is that if you pay £3500 to facelift an older car it must be because you want to be mistaken for a 2010+ newer car.

However folk with the cash to buy the newer 2010+ cars do not then replace the nice new factory Alloys with non Range Rover after-market wheels and then add Chrome door handles and Mirrors. (Except Wayne Rooney of course)

I am not against the chrome bits on older cars it just spoils and gives away the fact its a 2010 facelift with the consequence of making the owner (possibly) look a bit of a numpty.....

The opposite of what the £3500 was spent for...

I would try to make it look as factory original as possible.

So yes we all have opinions and that's mine.

got to agree with Gary,

a shooting friend of mine has just spend almost £4k on a 2010 facelift and bits and bobs on a 2007my S/C - what the hell for?

he would have been better putting that money towards a newer vehicle. And one thing is for sure, he won't see that money back again - its down the pan - far from increasing its value he has just made it less desirable on the s/h market.

If I buy a used vehicle I want it original and not messed with. Then again it is his vehicle and his money so its up to him

guys not everyone wants to make people believe the car is a 2010 model they just like the look of the front and lights better as i for one think that the people that you would be trying to fool would be the very same people that would know the difference between the two models anyway....at least in this case his not trying to fool people into thinking its something its not as the fact it has the different back windows would be a big giveaway...........you guys need to look at it for what it is ....a new set of lights, bumper and grill....that is it "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"
