the towbar and receiver is 10 kilograms, with the other bits probably another half to one kilo tops ..

Assuming dimensions are not too extravagant it should be less than £10 for next day delivery with city link - thanks for the offer Nigel, but I need to source one a bit sooner than the end of next month.

Am thinking at the moment that the price difference between a good second hand one delivered and a new westfalia one I can collect from PF Jones in Manchester on Friday when i am down there on business already, may mean it makes more sense to buy a new one

PF Jones deliver for free Thumbs Up

And with 1 from them I do not think you will not get the storage bin.

Just out of interest why the swan neck?

I never used mine, as I did not like it.

Nigel, I already have the storage bin, the previous owner of my car kept the receiver and towball as he moved on to a new RR, so I have all the electrics, armature and the storage box already in my car. On Friday I have some meetings at the Christie so will be driving past PF Jones on the way out of Manchester anyway.

I like the swan neck and don't really see a need for having a multi-height hitch. I think if you tow older trailers or a mix of old and new you may have a need / benefit from the choice of heights. I have towed quite a wide variety of units with my old RR Sport with its removable bar from my little ifor williams P5 trailer (looked comical behind a sport, will look more ridiculous behind the FFRR) to the trailer for my old speedboat and even took a friends 2.5 tonne yacht from the marina at preston to windermere. Most modern trailers (if they are set up and loaded correctly will be at a standard hitch height.

Apologies to Scary as I feel we may have hijacked his thread somewhat... Whistle Whistle
