United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography Black TDV8 Santorini Black
original spec/supplying dealer

Morning All

Other than on topix (which I think you have to register/subscribe to and pay a fee) is there anyone I can email on here that can provide the original build sheet and which dealer it was supplied to when it was new?

I've got the info from vin decoders for the spec, but the supplying dealer would be great.

Cheers

I recently had mine sent to me, interestingly the build date was 11/09/08 and it was registered for the road (Stratstone JLR Nottingham) on the 20/04/09.

So a little over 6 months off the road after being built. No idea if this is normal or not but found it quite interesting.

Mine’s a Thursday car it turns out… 2009 pre-facelift 3.6 TDV8.

Got the build sheet for mine and apparently it was built on a Monday. If it were possible, out of curiosity, I would love to be able to correlate problematic vehicles and build days to see if there is a pattern, just to put some meat on the urban myth that build day is relevant. What was the amount of time between build date and registration?

(Incase anyone needs to look for a date of registration - https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/) 2009 pre-facelift 3.6 TDV8.

Thought 6 months was a bit of a gap for mine, wonder what that was about.

If I had to guess, perhaps someone spec’d it then pulled out after it was built, then it sat around waiting for a buyer.

Who knows. 2009 pre-facelift 3.6 TDV8.

That did cross my mind, would it have not been 2 owners on the V5 if that was the case, JLR, then the first buyer?

My sisters 1 series was a bmw car before the first owner - and that’s documented on the V5. 2009 pre-facelift 3.6 TDV8.
