Why are you surprised? It’s the whole point of it that they know.

Isn't there a potential GDPR issue with this if they are indeed monitoring InControl? When setting up mu InControl I dont recall seeing anywhere that it said I was happy to grant access to the dealership? _______________________________________________

I suspect it's in the EULA, the one we all scroll through quickly and never read as it's always in small print and very long 2024 P550e Autobiography

Well they have missed the last 4 1/2 years and that would be 16 to 18 occasions. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue |

I think it’s a sign of the economy. They’ve had a few years of not having to work for anything, it’s all been too easy - now times are tighter they are having to do a days work.

When I got done for speeding a few years back, I asked my contact at the dealer if it was possible to download the detailed telemetery for the time of the offence on the speed camera to see what speed the car was doing. He told me in theory it was possible, but wasn’t sure of the protocol. I didn’t pursue it, but I might if I ever get caught again! |

Funny enough there was one of these “Police caught on camera blah blah” type programmes a few years ago which looked at the investigation into the incident described here;

Not surprised at all by this Andy. And I suspect it's likely to form the basis of future road charging tolls on a pay per mile basis (or be used to limit vehicle movement, perhaps with a personal geofence, if you've created too many emissions).
