I have searched high and low for the answer and google doesn't seem to know this one.

I have had my L405 3.0 TDV6 for just over 6 months and did a couple oil changes myself (as and when the car told me, inline with what I have read on this forum regarding the oil dilution).

I did another oil change yesterday and when I reset the "service now" message using the old open hood, door and pressed both pedals. The usual interval resets to 5000 miles, this time however it only reset to 750 miles. I tired doing the reset a couple time more but to no avail.

Sadly I don't have a GAP tool and local indie shop, although are very good for most things, refused to do anything with the this as they "didn't service the vehicle".

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
