Had a great time at the LRE in a TDV8 including quite a long drive on the roads.

I believe the best idea is to wait a year. If you want to go the diesel way, there are rumors that LR will upgrade the 3.6 tdv8 to a 4.0. This makes buying a 2010 diesel not such a good idea, unleass you really want to do it.
On a final note, the tdv8 really is something else. Everyday i'm impressed by it...... |

Got my LR experience day booked for Sept in Skipton and chose the FFRR of course. Then, two weeks ago, my local dealer handed me another LR experience voucher after taking the car in for a minor warranty claim. So might now be able to compare petrol vs diesel offroad. Not bad for a freebie.

Thats a point. They probably don't , if only because of their fuel consumption. Ah well.
