I've found it really useful when away with work and trying to negotiate some hotel car parks than can be quite tight. First time FFRR owner |

One can get by without it, but it saves bother when one would otherwise have to get out and look, parking spaces is probably the most common use, but where it really comes into its own is turning in a tight space where there is a ditch or other steep drop, off road with unfenced bridges, boulders, ditches and similar. The cameras are such low resolution and wash out so easily in only the slightest bit of sunlight or dirt on the lens, that I find them totally useless and don't use them. I'd like to be able to, and in theory, the trailer reversing feature with them is great, but in practice, they're too poor quality to be of any use and I end up hanging my head out the window to get a better view on where the wheels are going. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8 |
