Message centre LCD

The message centre screen on my P38 has only been showing half of the digits for some time but now it has gone almost completely blank. Does anyone know if these are available or can be repaired?

Hi Pete, I've not seen anything new, I bought a used inst cluster, when I had a lot of dead pixels make sure you see it working first, with a perfect screen.

You can replace the screen and the circuit & ribbon after dismantling the cluster assy, fiddly but not difficult.

Thanks Andy. Typically, it came back on last night. This car has been playing tricks on me for 18 years so it's not going to sop now. I'll Watch out for an instrument cluster for when it goes off again.
