Hello all,
So the saga continues and I need your help again.
As part of the inlet manifolds. I am replacing oil cooler (inc gasket) and oil filter housing gasket + the thermostat housing which is leaking.
This is what I am currently looking at, and have the following questions:

The workshop manual isn't clear on some things.
1. To remove the thermostat housing, do I need to remove the fan shroud and the fan itself?
2. EGR is blanked - at valve output - can I remove both valves and blank at the pipe from exhaust? How are you looping the coolant lines?
3. What is the best way to go about removing the thermostat and filter housing? Do I need to remove the EGR for this..
Euughhh.. I'm so over this job.. I've just about managed to replace the inlet manifolds, but I still have a load of stuff to do. Such a pain.
Just to be clear, when I am finished this job, I will have replaced the following items:
* Inlet manifolds
* Thermostat housing
* Oil cooler (inc. gaskets)
* Oil filter housing gasket.
* the two 90 degree pipes coming from thermostat housing to what looks like the block - one is perished so doing both.
Is there anything else I'm missing that I should do while I'm in there....?
