Resetting windows one touch function

My FF has been parked up for a few months due to a broken leg and the battery is kaput. Tried charging with my trusty CTEK but even that failed to bring life back to battery. I decided to treat my self to a NOCO boost pack and this did manage to get the car started thankfully but the battery is going to be replaced as it’s had it. Whilst I had the engine running i quickly checked obvious issues and found the one touch function on all 4 windows only worked on the down not the up. Tried holding the switch down for longer when fully down then fully up but no joy. Is there a proper reset procedure for these? 2013 SDV8 4.4 Vogue SE Aintree

When I replaced the batteries in mine & needed to reset, the rears worked first time but the fronts required a bit off playing around.

The manual states - "Reset electric window one-touch facility. Power window up to hard stop, release switch, reapply and hold for 1 second (relay in door will click). One touch should now work"

However, I tried a few things, locking & unlocking, ignition on & off - not sure what it was in the end, but suddenly the fronts worked too.

If it's OK on down but not up, that sounds more like a CCF setting, but hard to see how that would have changed......

Thanks, I’ll have more of a play with it I think, I can plug in the IID tool to see if any seems amiss there also. 2013 SDV8 4.4 Vogue SE Aintree

I just checked mine - on the main dash menu, there's a Vehicle Setup option and if you scroll down, you can select Open & Close independently -

It's general rule on Land Rovers about the wind down, wind up, then hold the up button till you hear the door click.

However, I did read somewhere that one touch up and global close doesn't work in all markets.

I've noticed that mine "unlearns" this, whenever I do a GAP change or sometimes randomly, so I have to reprogramme them occasionally, but the process is the same.

Fitted a new battery today and followed reset procedure as posted and hey presto, success. Found releasing the window switch for a second was the part of the sequence I had missed before. Thanks all. 2013 SDV8 4.4 Vogue SE Aintree
