If you do an Overfinch conversion on your FFRR, is there a certain insurance company that insures these types of vehicles or do you just inform your own company about the 10k cost of conversion. |

And I doubt that very much. Insurance companies are always looking for any minor alterations or modifications that they can use as justification to hike up your premium. Most owners have something that is not standard fit. Even if you told them you'd swapped your alloys for another set of GENUINE LANDROVER alloys, same size etc, they would bump the premium up, probably because the newer alloys are seen as a higher risk of theft by an urchin of some description. But, most of us don't tell them. Wonder how much ken has told his insurer about his off road add-ons and what it cost him?
