TDV8 - No Throtle - Idles at 500rpm and sounds lumpy

Hi there.

My 3.6 (2007) TDV8 L322 has an occasional engine issue.

It sometimes runs really rough at about 500 rpm at start up and wont rev (No throttle resonse).
Then after a few moments is clears and runs fine.

Occasionally, it does this mid journey.

It did it this morning when i slowed down and at a junction.

Turning it off and on multiple times didnt solve it.
I was stranded for about 5 minutes, letting it tick over roughly then it burst back into action and was fine.

No Warnings, No Dash Lighsts and no faults reported.
It has done this a few times over the past few years, so its not a turbo or engine issue that I can tell.

Some people have suggested its EGR related?

Has anyone had this issue before?

Will blanking off the EGR's be a simple solution and make a difference?

Many thanks

'Could' be a sticky EGR valve. If so get them replaced, or blanked and mapped out to avoid costly turbo damage. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
