England 2018 Range Rover Autobiography 2.0 PHEV Loire Blue
New (to me!) Autobiography

After a few cars away from the brand I’ve decided to suck up the crazy insurance cost and sometimes tricky reliability to buy a 2018 P400e Autobiogrpahy. I’m not sure why we keep coming back but I feel more attached to Land Rover than any other brand!

It’s a 2018 with great history and a top end spec (I shopped around!). I love the velocity blue, which I know isn’t for everyone.

I’m going to buy a warranty and got some good tips on here, I know JLRs is the best but this one is out Wink so an inspection (that they don’t have capacity to do until end Sept!) coupled with the cost of the warranty is £2200, which is triple everyone else. It’s either that or bank the cash and pray Rolling with laughter

Couple of questions from this amazing forum;

The mirror switches don’t light up until pressed. That whole bank of buttons (glossy plastic) are in darkness till you press it? Is this normal? Once pressed they go orange, but I thought they were ambient lit in white? Any fixes?

The hybrid battery stops at 99% and says charging fault, otherwise works fine.

I’ve bought some 21s to put on. I like the wheels (Riviera), but need a bit more tyre and a bit less wheel Wink

Morning Hoppy70,

That's a smart looking car, welcome back, can't help on the battery front, best get the JLR warranty.

The window switches on my L405 illuminate when the lights are switched on only, but mine is a SV so maybe the hybrid is different?

If the warranty wasn't from the dealer, get ready for the "wear and tear" excuse, with no evidential basis. Censored 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Very nice, I heard the RAC warranty is ok but i would just put money away each month.

Not Range Rover but the same applies read the comments.

Very Nice! Love the colour and it still looks classy with the black. Good choice.

Keep us updated on how it goes as I would be interested how the overall MPG is - I do occasional long distance (2000km) so diesel is the way ahead for me but average only 25mpg on mixed town/motorway.
