Cannot connect to Home Wifi

Hi everyone, just got my MY2019 SDV8 Autobiography.

Can anyone help with why the car cannot find any wifi networks? The page just loads endlessly, usually until the car falls asleep. I'd like to connect either to my phone or house to check for updates

I also have sporadic SOS Limited Functionality message on the dash and daily calls from InSecure. Car's going in shortly to have these looked at though, but could all these be linked?

Thx 2019 MY SDV8 Autobiography in Velocity Blue

Right, so this is a good one....

The car was in for it's 96k service (£1200, ouch), and at the same time had the oil cooler replaced (weeping, as per other posts on the forum) and also to fix this wifi issue.

It also expanded slightly, as the car would not allow me to access the mobile data menu to load an external sim. I was also regularly getting 'low battery' messages on the dash when the car had been opened briefly.

Someone more electronically technical will be able to articulate this more eloquently, but apparently the offending item was some form of power management unit, in essence stopping the aux battery from charging correctly and also not drawing from the correct battery for ancillary functions where the car was not running.

How on earth that was the cause for me to be unable to access menus, connect to wifi or connect an external sim I have no idea - but it all works now! Batteries were tested at the same time and deemed to be fine.

Now I have RTTI, can watch TV for more than 3 minutes and don't have to run around the car like a nutcase when cleaning in panic for the battery being flat Laughing 2019 MY SDV8 Autobiography in Velocity Blue
