P023D-22 (2C) Manifold absolute pressure

Hi chaps, does anyone know what the 2C represents on this fault code?
Would a K&N air filter help throw the code?
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt, I put a K&N filter in a Ford Explorer and the oil mist off the filter kept clogging the MAF sensor. Put a genuine filter in If I was you.
Have you cleaned the MAP sensor? Don't poke anything in it when cleaning or you'll puncture the membrane inside.
Thumbs Up

Clean the MAP sensor with carb cleaner - don't be tempted to prod and poke into the 4 holes

Which TDV8 engine do you have 4.4 or 3.6 ?

If fault can be cleared after cleaning MAP sensor, then great, if not you could have a crack in your plastic inlet manifold ( over £500 each side to replace ) but can be repaired if its a small crack with Q-Bond - make sure it's completely clean, degreased and dry before applying Q-Bond ( rough the area up up with some 200 grit sandpaper before applying the Q-Bond )

Thanks chaps. Great point regarding the oil mist Kevin. I hadn’t thought about it! I’m going to take a look at cleaning all the sensors. It has only happened a few times cruising with slight load. Codes can be cleared. Turning off the engine and re starting also fixes it, so I’m hoping it’s just grime build up as it was evident it had been a bit neglected. It’s the 3.6 08. I brought it to see what all the hype was 🥴
