Car has now been in the local RR service dealers waiting for a rear ACE pipe its been on back order for six weeks beginning to get fed up with waiting anyone else had this problem with parts on back order.

Everybody is having problems with parts on back order. As I understand it there is a major issue with JLR parts supply, so dealers have yards full of vehicles waiting for parts.

Yet weirdly when I have ordered genuine parts from other suppliers (e.g. LR4x4 or Island 4x4), there's no problem!

Yeah, I’m afraid JLR’s supply chain is a bit of a mess currently. I waited two months for an air-con condenser seal last summer. Apparently JLR have been amalgamating various parts warehouses, but there are countless tales of woe!
You might have some success doing a parts search yourself, as (despite what they claim) dealers won’t search outside of their dealer group, so a rival group might have the part in stock.

I feel your pain, mine was in and needed a new radiator. ' Back order, sir'. My 322 spent 4 months waiting on a backplate a couple of years ago.
