In Control Service subscription for tracker

First post so I hope this is in the correct place.

New to me RR bought in June (MY 22) with InControl subscription until Sept 24. When I researched insurance the cheapest was Tesco at £1,050 but strangely having a tracker did not effect the price so I declared 'no tracker'.

The InControl subscription for 2025 has come through at £280 so I am considering not renewing the subscription as my insurance is not currently dependent having a tracker.

If I don't renew the tracker subscription will it be possible to renew at a future date if my next insurance renewal requires it? I don't see why but I thought it was worth asking for your comments.

Regards

I think it would but you may be better getting a non LR tracker. I understand the thieves know where the LR tracker equipment is and it is easy and quick for them to remove. First time FFRR owner

Yes you can subscribe at a later date, not that you'd want to, as has been said go for aftermarket or
I'd go for a cheap chinese jobby with a cheap sim card in just for your own peace of mind if the inurance aren't bothered. Current
