trying to help a mate out with a gearbox issue , 2012 tdv8 so ZF8 70hp gearbox fitted , if you accelerate fairly hard , the car goes but theres a slight shunt into certain gears , then once hot the revs drop to well below the usual range at a given speed ( i also have a 2011 tdv8 so know what it should be at ) only code is P0741-07 torque convertor clutch solenoid - circuit performance or stuck off
car had a recent fluid change / service
im think torque convertor as there are not other codes and it does shift normally when asked via command shift
any assistance welcome before i start stripping the car down

Was the fluid change done with ZF fluid or a cheaper type? Is the fluid level right? It’s very easy to get it wrong

May be worth replacing the EDS 2 solenoid
