mine does that too, I quite like it.

As someone mentioned earlier, if I have firms brake pressure when stopped it creaks a bit but I'm not sure it is anything concerning First time FFRR owner

Only kidding but, seriously yes, if you have set “auto access height” it will raise on engine start, and lower on engine off exactly as you say.

Also agree on “use it, or lose it” :oops: :whistle:

The fact that JLR has put access height on an auto setting in the newer model definitely sounds like they think its a good idea to park in access height. I think for now Ill have to be the auto switch until I get an L405! Current yokes

As others have said, my 2016 MY drops once its parked and I unbuckle or open the door... so it must be safe to do so - at least for that year and newer. Ash
